Ingredients

  • 2 cup Glutinous flour
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon Salt
  • 2 cup Grated coconut
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 stalk Screwpine leaves

Preparation Method

1. Cook the brown sugar with a little bit of water, stir till they melt

2. Add in the screwpine leaves and leave it to simmer

3. Place the grated coconut and salt in, cook till the mixture dries up

4. Mix the glutinous rice with salt, coconut milk and sufficient water. Knead till it becomes a dough

5. Flatten the dough, place the filling in and round it into a ball

6. Coat the banana leaves with oil and place the dough inside. Fold up the banana leaf

7. Steam the Kuih Koci for about 15 to 20minutes
